The methodology behind Athel
Ground-Truth Attribution: event attribution built from what actually happened.
Most event follow-up runs on memory and badge-scan exports. This guide teaches a different model: record every conversation as it happens — who, where, what happened — so qualification, follow-up, and attribution are read from the record instead of reconstructed weeks later. Free, no forms, no paywall.
The six-stage loop
One loop per Event, from the week before to the numbers you show your boss after.
- 01 Prep Set up the Event, goals, and label groups before you travel.
- 02 Live Capture every conversation in the moment — card, voice, or Booth.
- 03 Wrap-up Review every contact before you leave the venue.
- 04 Debrief Talk through what happened; turn it into contacts and follow-ups.
- 05 Follow-through Work the follow-ups while the conversations are still warm.
- 06 Prove Read the record: what the Event produced, in numbers you can defend.

The short series that teaches the model. Read it in order — it fixes the vocabulary everything else uses.
Ground-Truth Attribution: the model
Event attribution fails because the context layer — who you met, where, and what happened — never gets recorded. Fix the record and the rest follows.

Why capture happens in the moment or not at all
Context decays by the hour. The economics of a field event are decided in the thirty seconds after each conversation — not on the Tuesday after.

Labels are your qualification system
Every label group asks one question a rep can answer in the moment. Every answer becomes a timestamped interaction — the atoms your attribution is built from.

Attribution you can defend
Event ROI built from firsthand interaction records instead of inferred touchpoints — what the record lets you claim, the math, and the limits stated honestly.

The wrap-up ritual
Before you leave the venue, review every contact and answer every question — once, cheaply, while you still know the answers. This is the stage that makes the record complete.

Follow-through is the whole point
The record exists to change what happens next week. Follow-ups become real, dated commitments in one list — Overdue, Today, This week — until every promise from the Event is kept.
